Your jacket will be selected from stock based upon the following measurements.  We suggest you print this guide by clicking here  and take the following measurements as illustrated below.   Quote these values on our hire enquiry form when checking the availability of a hire package.  Please DO NOT take these measurements unassisted.

Measure around the fullest part of your chest.   The tape should run freely round the chest at underarm height. Max. chest size is 56 inch.

This should be the same measurement as your kilt waist.

This measurement should be taken ideally with a jacket on.   Measure from the crown to the preferred cuff length (finished length).

Jacket styles are either Short, Regular or Long fittings.  Short fitting is 1 inch shorter than regular, while long is 1 inch longer than regular.   You can now compare your chest size and sleeve length to the following table to determine your fitting:

Chest (inches): 36 38 40 42 44 46 48 50 52 54
Regular Sleeve (inches): 23.5 24 24.5 25 25 25 25.5 26 26 27

It is very important that we get your full height (head to toe) so we can judge if the sizes you have provided appear correct.

If required use the following table to help you convert your jacket sizes into inches.  When making a hire enquiry please take all measurements in inches.
