Your kilt will be selected from stock based upon the following measurements.  We suggest you print this guide by clicking here and take the measurements as illustrated.   Quote these values on our hire enquiry form  when enquiring about the availability of any hire package.  Please DO NOT take these measurements unassisted.

 

Measure the natural waist, approx. 2 inches higher than the hip bone.  This measurement should be firm but not tight.  Note: Max waist size available for hire is 54 inches. 

 

This measurement should be taken round the fullest/widest part of the seat and hip.  This measurement should be loose (ie. the tape runs freely round the seat).  

   

Measure from the natural waist to the middle of the kneecap.  Take this measurement to the nearest 1/4 inch.   It is important that this is done standing straight with your feet together.  Note: Max kilt length available for hire is 28 inch.  

 

It is very important that we get your full height (head to toe) so we can judge if the sizes you have provided appear correct.  
 

If required use the following table to help you convert your kilt sizes.  All our hire stock measurements are in inches therefore measurements supplied must be in this format.
